A massive sky is never far away. My love of clouds and skies can clearly be seen within this body of work. A storm, an early morning sunrise or a sunset late at night being the best time to capture atmosphere and drama. The rapid mark-making used is to give the feeling of movement; not often calm, but regularly fierce and squally.
